Safran and Associates Plan for New Facility Opening in Mobile

The expansion will take place at the Brookley- based Mobile Aero plex belonging to the Mobile Airport Authority (MAA). 24,500 ft² will be the size of the addition to the Aeroplex to be built. Not only will the expansion increase productivity but will allow for new jobs to be created. Per officials at Safran US state that this will employ around 20 new employees for the production increase over a three-year period.

Safran will also invest over 1 million US dollars into machinery to fill in their newly established facility.

David Rogers, Mobiles Area Chamber senior project manager, would like to reassure that Safran’s presence in Mobile will indeed benefit both entities from this point forward.”  Their manufacturing presence within our aerospace hub will continue to pay dividends in our future recruitment efforts in the industry.”
